The Muckleburgh Military Collection is the UK's largest privately-owned Military Museum. There are 25 tanks, all in working order, with special emphasis on Cold War types (see their Panzer 61 and T55 on our Cold War pages). That said, the Collection boasts a T34/85 in superb running order and - just finishing restoration in 2013 - a Comet.

The Collection is situated on the former site of Weybourne Camp which is known to have been inhabited by the military since Roman Times. In World War 2 it was home to an Anti Aircraft battery and the original gunpits right on the shoreline have been recently restored and refurbished with guns.

Muckleburgh is an eclectic collection that can more than reward a full day out. Whichever way you look, there is something to take the eye: a WW2 V1, a Bloodhound missile, a Harrier Jump Jet, a Gloster Meteor. Inside are even more military vehicles, a superb collection of military models, small arms and historical photographs. Plus fabulous views of the Norfolk coastline.
